Looking for a Moving Job Where Hard Work Actually Pays Off?

If you’re looking for a moving job in Utah where you can stay active, work with a great team, learn valuable skills, and have opportunities to advance, Rocky Mountain Movers & Storage may be the right fit for you.

Moving isn’t a job where you’re sitting behind a desk all day. Every day brings something different. One day you’re helping a family move into their first home. The next, you’re moving a large household, carefully handling valuable furniture, or helping a customer through a major life transition.

You work hard, you stay active, and you get to see the results of your work every day.

At Rocky Mountain Movers & Storage, we’re looking for dependable, hardworking people who take pride in doing a job well. You don’t need to have years of moving experience to get started. What matters most is that you’re willing to work, willing to learn, and committed to taking care of our customers and their belongings.

If that sounds like you, we’d like to meet you.

Why Work for Rocky Mountain Movers & Storage?

A good moving job should be more than a paycheck.

We want our movers to have an opportunity to earn competitive wages, build skills, take on additional responsibility, and grow with the company.

Competitive Pay

Your hard work matters.

We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications. Whether you’re coming into the moving industry with years of experience or you’re just getting started, we want to make sure your compensation reflects the value you bring to the team.

As you gain experience and take on additional responsibilities, there are opportunities to continue growing.

Flexible Scheduling

We understand that everyone has responsibilities outside of work.

That’s why we offer flexible scheduling opportunities whenever possible. Whether you’re looking for full-time work, part-time work, or a schedule that fits around other commitments, we’ll work to find a schedule that makes sense for you and the needs of our customers.

Get Paid Every Week

Nobody likes waiting around for payday.

At Rocky Mountain Movers & Storage, we pay our employees weekly, giving you more consistent access to the money you’ve earned.

Advancement Opportunities

You don’t have to stay in the same position forever.

One of the advantages of working for a growing moving company is the opportunity to take on more responsibility. As you gain experience and demonstrate leadership, you can develop your skills and pursue opportunities for advancement within the company.

We want to develop great movers into great leaders.

For the right person, a moving job can become the beginning of a career.

Bonus Opportunities

We believe great work deserves recognition.

In addition to competitive pay, bonus opportunities may be available based on performance, responsibilities, and other company programs.

Our goal is to create opportunities for motivated employees to increase their earning potential while providing excellent service to our customers.

Every Day Is Different

If you hate doing the same thing every day, you’re going to like working in the moving industry.

No two moves are exactly alike.

You’ll work with different customers, move different homes, visit different locations, and face different challenges. You’ll need to think on your feet, work as a team, and figure out the best way to get the job done safely and efficiently.

It’s active. It’s challenging. And it’s never boring.

What Does a Professional Mover Do?

Being a professional mover is about much more than carrying boxes.

Our movers are responsible for helping customers safely move their belongings from one location to another. That means taking care of furniture, boxes, appliances, household goods, and sometimes extremely valuable or fragile items.

Depending on the job, your responsibilities may include:

  • Loading and unloading moving trucks
  • Carrying furniture and boxes
  • Protecting furniture and floors
  • Wrapping and preparing furniture for transportation
  • Packing household belongings
  • Carefully handling fragile items
  • Working as part of a moving team
  • Communicating professionally with customers
  • Following safe lifting and moving procedures
  • Keeping the job organized and on schedule
  • Helping customers have a positive moving experience

You don’t need to be a professional athlete to be a mover—but you do need to be willing to work hard.

The job can be physically demanding, and you’ll spend much of your day on your feet. If you enjoy physical work and don’t mind getting a workout while you’re getting paid, this could be a great fit.

What We Look for in Our Movers

Experience is helpful, but attitude is even more important.

We’re looking for people who are dependable, hardworking, respectful, and willing to learn.

A great Rocky Mountain Mover:

Shows Up

Our customers are counting on us. When you commit to a job, we expect you to show up on time and ready to work.

Works Hard

Moving is physical work. We want people who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty, carry heavy items, and keep working until the job is done.

Takes Care of Customers

Customers are trusting us with their homes and belongings. We expect our movers to treat every customer with professionalism and respect.

Takes Pride in Their Work

We want our team members to look at the finished job and know they did it right.

That means protecting furniture, paying attention to details, working safely, and treating customers’ belongings as if they were your own.

Works Well With a Team

Moving is a team sport.

The best movers communicate with each other, help each other, and work together to solve problems. You won’t be doing everything alone.

No Moving Experience? That’s Okay.

If you’ve never worked for a moving company before, don’t automatically count yourself out.

Many of the skills needed to become a great mover can be learned on the job.

You’ll learn how to properly lift and carry furniture, protect household belongings, load trucks efficiently, work with customers, and handle different types of moves.

What we can’t teach as easily is work ethic, reliability, and attitude.

If you bring those things to the job, we’ll help you develop the rest.
